Sometimes it’s funny how things happen, and then there are those times that are just downright sad. The thought of you crawling into bed next to me again used to be more than enough for me. But now the thought of you crawling into bed always includes someone else. It isn’t me laying there; not anymore anyway. I would have given you the sun, the moon, and the stars. But you didn’t want to return the favor. I guess I really shouldn’t have been surprised. Day after day, people do others favors and they don’t even go as far as to say thank you. It was too much for me to expect you to return my favor, my feelings.
I WILL own a pug at some time in my life.
